Calm comes from within us. Six-Sense Style explores sensory experiences from within your inner space through your six senses. The result is harmonic balance, with witnessed energetic changes in your space.
Human nature imprints objects with emotions; environmental nature imprints by instinct. Yet each form of nature makes its daily life decisions with its six senses. How we see, hear, smell, taste, touch and sense shifts all of nature back to balance. The magic component we were missing is outer nature lives only in the moment adjusting its space defined by its senses. To emulate this form of balance, we also need to recreate the same momentary connection to our space.

What is style?
Kat believes the most known definition of style is just making random choices that look good. How they are put into a space, to achieve a certain feeling, becomes a type of style. In today’s culture this word usually relates to fashion for the body, food, transportation design and home- related décor for interiors. It starts outside of us.
What is “Essence Living as a Signature Style”?
Signature Style comes from the core essence of who you are as nature to achieve balance. It develops when you make visual/non-visual, heart-centered choices that show others how you choose to be seen and understood in the world. Like nature, each choice leaves an energy imprint to feel your space.
Style can be someone else’s imitated look and feel for a room. Your “Signature Style” is born from your six sense clues to not only look good but “Feel Good” to match your room’s energy. The way you put together that vision grows your signature look.
How can my “Six-Senses Style” be further developed?
How we each experience the world around us and display it to others is what makes us unique as a style. By using our existing décor to find clues of colors, shapes, textures, eras, timeframes, and symbolism, in your senses, you express only your view of life – your true essence . Kat offers lots of tools for inspiration and exploration for growth.

Making conscious style choices allow us to put our individual essence statement out into the world. Our thoughts, focused words, and natural energy patterns are capable of creating the comfortable home we deserve. As human nature, our ultimate goal in our space is to create a place to feel comfortable, safe, secure, nurtured, respected, and even loved. That kind of décor comes from within you, from the deepest recesses of your essence. This essence answers three questions: who you are, what you want, and the choices you are making in your home space to stay connected to that reality. That form of style is only within you. That is what makes you “one-of-a-kind”.
Why design with the six senses: seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, touching and sensing?
Our senses hold clues to our experiences. How they are reviewed brings them to life as a tableau of our lives. It tells the story that matches the intention creating balance in that space.
That is why this new design movement is called “Six-Sense Style”.
How can I design my space if I lack design knowledge?
Six-Sense Style Designing is just telling your story your way. Everyone can access the hidden designer within them. To pull it out six-sensually, you will rethink designing space as energy. Setting a space for comfort now starts with a mental focal point (a choice), an intention for a room (a feeling), then choosing six sense decor (design elements) to build a personal visual story.
How do I design with my story?
All the objects in our home are a part of our story. By sorting them by energy and putting them together to match your room’s intention, it anchors the energy and intention together. Kat calls this “propping the story”. How you achieve this combination defines your “Six-Sense Style”, visually.
SEEING OUR HOME IN A NEW WAY
As we move into a new world of eco friendly design, our mind set also needs to change. Here are some of my tips nature taught me about de-stressing our space to “feel good”.
We first need to see our home space is truly a living breathing organism guided with our thoughts living in it as energy. It is no accident we call our space living rooms, or living spaces. Next we need to recognize, as nature, we share the gift of six senses together. Our senses activate balance in a natural way.
What is Kat’s idea of “Feel Good” space?
“Feel Good” space is when a room’s essence (your energy) is designed based on your “Heart of Being” intentions and not the “Brain of Doing” imitation.
How is “Feel Good” space achieved?
“Feel Good” space is just honestly telling your story, room-by-room, using your six senses. It sets a natural “Feel Good” energy.
How do I work with energy in a room?
Each story you tell, visually propped (using your six senses), has a specific intention that sets a room’s energy and acts as a grounding element to keep you focused in that intention.
What will I learn from using my six senses for home/style?
Designing is quick, easy and it is fun to make seasonal changes. Creating “Feel Good” spaces that match your intent becomes a style journey to explore your essence statements. You reconnect back to natural flow in a special way. What you create inside reflects outside.
