Q: Is the purpose of having good energy flow in a room to have a better relationship, make more money, or to have better health? Q: Does moving Chi (The energy fields) around your home support you? A: Here is a ditty to learn - What stays…plays. Your thoughts, words and actions affect your space. What you put there lingers. Your senses connect to it and it draws up emotional data that can “infect” that flow. Nature provides natural flow patterns (Chi) that helps to disperse your stagnant energy. But like a bucket, what have you put in that space? Is that what is moving through your rooms? Q: Are you the only one to affect your space? A: No. Anything and everyone affects a space. All those living in that home are contributing to the energy patterns. It is this mixture that creates a chaotic energy – we title confusion in the household. (A con-fused energy). You can achieve just one room alignment to match your intent. This is usually your getaway spot. (Check out my free Summer Maui Getaway room pdf.) to get going. How to shift others in your space is for another newsletter. For now, bring everyone together and state the room’s intent. See the other person’s point of view. Find a meeting ground so all feelings can be aligned for that same space. My suggestion, find your own nook to get away. ? Have a clear intent (Focus) ? Clarify your qualities (Functions in that space stay intact) ? Have visual objects designed for Six-Sense Style recall (Form) ? Your momentary thought fits that original room design of intent (Flow) Q: Do I need someone else to clear, align and redesign my space? A: NO. That’s why it is called YOUR SPACE. It has to come from your energy, intent, senses and experiences to set, reaffirm and anchor each room. Even interior design is now easy when you follow your six-sense clues to prop a room with my Six-Sense Style System. Once you know it, you can use it anywhere to design your outer environment for attraction. Your space will hold your essence energy. Nature’s way to creating balance is simple – why complicate things.
A: Yes and no. The purpose to have good energy in a home is to keep you and your space in alignment to “Feel Good”. Your goal is to match that inside of you with your outside environment. When you are matched energetically you will naturally be open to getting along with others. You will create a space for others to do the same. You’ll draw on your passion to activate your financial goals and want to continue a wellness regime. There is no magic object or place to give you what you want. For example, let’s explore having a better relationship. If each time you walk into a room, and are irritated by the other person’s energy, nothing will bring that together. Those thoughts (personal energy) linger and build up in an energy we have titled resentment. Until that shifts “the bad stuff” stays.
Q: Once I set my home for flow, is it done?
FEATURE – TOUGH TIMES – FIND YOUR PASSION
NL#9 Summer 2010
When times are tight, and the freedom of travel is more limited, it’s a good time to reflect on where you have been. Although you may not feel the stimulation of the exciting trips as before, there is an inner trip in all of us. I found drawing on that inner journey can be just as rewarding as packing for a new one – not to mention within your budget. Travel was a passion I thought I had lost. That search to find that old traveling spirit led me down a new path – a direction I didn’t realize I was going. I became a mental traveler, back through my times of past discovery, and found it met up with the “me” of today.
Those time-honored slides, reminding me I had really been there, were now all red or faded. A sadness of seeing good times eroded came over me. Although film doesn’t last, I found my senses took over to tell the stories better than I had remembered pictorially. My six senses had left the true, lasting imprint on my mind and emotions. We don’t realize what we store away for recall until we task ourselves to remember a slice in time. The same joy, intrigue, and feeling of discovery is still there. Like a stamp on your passport, each sensory detail is imprinted somewhere to revitalize old dreams into new sensations. It was the snippets of time that my journals captured that were now left to sift through. The joyful travelers that hitchhiked into each page along the way, embarrassingly today I don’t have a first name. The details are faded but the smells of the market food, touching of the aqua glistening water, feeling of the mountain air, the sounds of the trains, the laughter of friends and strangers in the pubs until wee hours still remained. The slides weren’t needed to support my journeys. I had packed them up with my senses and can enjoy their stories anytime. When the tourist souvenirs find their way to the garage sale, and the albums won’t hold together anymore, the stories will always be there to comfort, delight and amaze us. We can pack for that imaginary trip for the mind – and move to a destination of peace and tranquility in the moment. We are a tribe of stories we live and die by. It is our job to keep them alive within us, share them with others, and create the ones that bring us the best life can design. Our stories are our passion.
KAT’S EMPORIUM - MY SYMBOL OF PASSION
Your Journey in Six-Sense Style
My new journey was to discover what my senses knew and how it supported what I want to feel today. This was an easy, fun and very affordable way to travel. What I discovered was each of our journeys becomes an integral part of who we are, how we look, what we say, why we work, especially how we fit into the world. For me it was how I ate, designed, and wrote. The sum of the parts is what I am calling our ESSENCE. The recall is from our gift of SIX SENSES. How we each put our six-sense stories together verbally and visually is how we create our own unique STYLE. When I started to sift through the old and blend the new “older me awareness” I saw both journeys meld together into one thought – one new idea of Essence Living with Six-Sense Style. This was the new spurt of lost passion I was looking for. I was again a traveler, just in a different way. This time I was a virtual armchair traveler. My journals and stories were my online magazine. My market stall was now a worldwide online store to share with a larger audience. I invite each of you, as new virtual travelers, to come along and enjoy my sensory journey to hopefully inspire yours. As a designer I have taken my new travel story passion and my intentional product lines for "Six-Sense Style Essence Living" and have begun to blend them as “Kat’s EMPORIUM, Your Journey in discovering your style.
NL# 4 WORK SPACE
FINDING YOUR PASSION AS BUSINESS STYLE
Passion isn’t wasted on the young. Your passion isn’t gone – it is just clouded over by the daily bombardment of how we are told we should feel. We each need to dig deep to decide who is running our lives. Who is really making our personal choices to live fulfilled? If the answer is YOU, then only you can make changes that “Feel Good”. Start with the old stories, photos, and memorabilia you have saved. Sift through the stories from your past to keep and toss the debilitating, unhappy ones. Pack up the new ideas and travel light to a place of “Feel Good” passion. Stop complaining. The train is leaving. What excites you? What from your past still generates interest today when you sense it? What do you love doing? Balance is easy when you do more of that. Maybe there is a special song, a play, new hobby, club, inner book, a winning photo, a new business passion in you with what you love doing. No matter what others are saying, your passion is the greatest invention, given time. No one can foreclose on who you are. Only you and your stories can do it your way.
Who you are, your style, is never gone – just packed away waiting to take its new “Feel Good” journey. It’s time to travel! Your home can be a reflection of that idea.
