The bonfire is blazing and he hear the chanting in the background. The Shaman of “Inka” tradition is opening up sacred space. One by one, the attendees will blow away the unwanted issues of their lives - into the stick they prepared and brought with them to give to mama earth. The stick is the symbol of unblocking each individual’s life choice to move on. The people witness the fire transforming negative energy back to light. In nature’s moonlight the prayers of silence are gathered by the Shaman to bless the offerings. The ancient chant resounds to the wind, carrying the messages as people wait for their answers. You would expect to look out over the vista to see the Peruvian landscape. Instead, this ancient fire ceremony is being officiated here in The fire ceremony is the oldest healing tradition known to man. In the Inca tradition all sunlight is bound up into matter and when you burn matter, such as a branch or a log, it turns back into light energy. Typically, if you were looking to manifest something for the future, the sacred fire ceremony would be held under a Full Moon - Saturday, October 3rd, 2009.
